UPDATE: Like I said, this is all speculation. It would seem that the new projected date for a trailer is Feb. 14th. I’m not sure what to make of this – I would keep an eye out for an official press release from Legendary in the coming week, and a trailer announcement sometime in February. – Jon

Looks like all of the rumors swirling about the past month are panning out to be true. The latest article to ‘confirm’ a second trailer hitting on the 7th comes from emileeid.com – Here’s what they had to say:

Fans of Godzilla won’t have to wait any longer for a new trailer, they’re lucky enough as the next trailer release is just around the corner. The trailer is expected to drop online on February 7. Godzilla opens in theaters on May 15 starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston

I haven’t entertained most of the rumors so far, and this site doesn’t seem to have any more of a connection to the studio than any other site reporting the same news – But hopefully everyone’s right. Perhaps if we’re really lucky, this new trailer will give us a better sense of how Godzilla will be portrayed in the film. Atomic breath, anyone?
