Hey fandom, Jon D. B. here with a quick update!
KONG has been absent from theaters since Peter Jackson’s 2005 remake but is scheduled for a hell’ova return this March 10th with SKULL ISLAND. IMAX debuted this fantastically-retro poster art today via their Facebook page, which also confirms that we’ll be seeing a nationwide release of KSI in IMAX. Excellent news all around! As far as the poster is concerned, fans of classic cinema will immediately recall this new one’s inspiration:
