Another news-filled day! Variety reported moments ago that phenomenally talented actor Vera Farminga has been tapped to star in GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS as the mother of Millie Bobby Brown’s character, and wife to Kyle Chandler’s. The cast is shaping up wonderfully!
Interestingly, Variety also notes that Ken Watanabe is “the only likely” star of 2014’s GODZILLA to return, and their sources point to it happening. We’d love to see Dr. Serizawa as a recurring character in the franchise, so here’s to hoping he makes it back! Watanabe was recently diagnosed with cancer in 2016, so we also wish him all the health in the world and that it stays defeated!
