Want to avoid the new steep shipping, overages, import and duty fees that are now in effect? Buy your Godzilla collectibles on Skreeonk Shop!
At Skreeonk.com, we take your investment in high-end Godzilla collectibles very seriously. High-dollar purchases like the newly listed original Bandai Moguera with tag are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and insured for the full price of purchase, wrapped in bubble wrap in a sturdy box, all within 24-48 hours of payment.
And as always, there’s no worrying over quality, as we photograph each figure and tag directly. We’re also collectors, and have been a big part of the collecting scene for over two decades. Skreeonk was founded in 2011, after all. But a lot has changed since then, so let’s break it down.
Tariffs on Japan are affecting Godzilla Collectibles and Collectors

As collectors, the new tariff situation has hit us hard, too. Gone are the days of snagging classics on Mandarake or Buyee/Yahoo Japan and our favorite retailers for super low prices and affordable shipping.
Now, as of August 2025, shipments under $800 in value are also subject to import and duty fees, which often double the price of a purchase from Japan. Many retailers (like Mandarake) have also had to pause the majority of their shipping options to the U.S. for now. DHL is available, but the cost often translates to $100-200 USD just to ship an average-sized box. It’s a lot.
If you’re looking to buy a $60 figure from Japan, for example, you may have to pay anywhere from $40 to $200 USD in shipping and whatever the import/duty fees land at. This usually doubles or triples the cost, and has even made the prices of items and shipping from Japan on eBay rise significantly. In short, it has taken the joy out of this hobby for a lot of people. But don’t lose hope!
‘We do not buy figures to flip them. We also do not and never will purchase new releases in Japan to sell at marked up prices.’
Since opening our Skreeonk Shop in January of 2025, we’ve been selling figures from the collection of our founder, Jon D. B., and a handful of other private collections from the U.S. and Japan. We do not buy figures from Japanese sites to flip them. We also do not and never will purchase new releases in Japan to sell at marked up prices.
Jon has amassed a massive collection over the last 30 years. Skreeonk Shop was born to sell many of these items directly to other collectors while avoiding the high fees and mark-ups of eBay. Still, we’re trying as hard as possible to beat all other list prices online. So if you see a figure available elsewhere for less, please let us know!
Amid it all, Jon is still collecting himself, and you can see regular updates on what he’s displaying on our active Instagram & Facebook. Figures photographed in front of his collection are not for sale. Figures with the black background seen on Skreeonk Shop are for sale!
That being said, here are the latest drops, including the Popy Greatsaurus Godzilla re-release (red, with box), the M1GO Bullmark Godzilla classic colors re-release, CCP Godzilla 1999s, a rare clear ‘smoke’ GMK Godzilla Bandai, and that coveted original Bandai 8 inch Moguera with attached tag and antennae!
