Happy Friday, all – and a damn good one it shall be indeed!

For a couple of weeks now, Sid and I have been tossing ideas back and forth – ways to take Skreeonk.com forward. He’s been writing some excellent articles for us, I’ve been updating all the graphics and rewriting some of the dated content from around the site. Somewhere halfway through all that madness I laid down an idea for a Skreeonk podcast on the table – and believe it or not my good friend Sid had been pining to do something of the very same nature!

This podcast is the embodiment of something I’ve wanted to bring into fruition for a very long time now, and has me extremely excited – Sid as well.  Combining my experience in the entertainment industry and degrees in both Speech/Theatre & Electronic Media Production with Sid’s extensive tech-savvy brain and Web Design degrees – Well, we shall be a force to be reckoned with! So without further blabbering…

Skreeonk LIVE! is an in depth professional podcast for the Kaiju fandom covering every topic from films and collecting to comics and music.

Episode one encapsulates Kaiju in Hollywood – join Jon @ UnCanny and Sid Lazarus as they they embark on a Pacific Rim Retrospect and dive into Legendary’s upcoming Godzilla reboot – where we discuss everything from the director and cast to the highly debated design and thematic structure of the film.
Sid is working on getting a live stream for the main site, but for now check out our official Podcast page by clicking the screengrab below and listen to Episode 1 which has just gone live!
