2016 saw the announcement of TOHO’s next Godzilla project; the very first official anime feature film starring the Big-G. Now that Toho Animation & Netflix’s Anime Trilogy has wrapped, TOHO has announced their intention to build their own “Monsterverse” on par with Legendary’s – and we have dubbed it the TOHOVERSE. As always, we’ll be here to report on all things Godzilla, so stay tuned for the latest!

*Note: In 2018, Toho announced there will be no sequel to SHIN-GOJIRA, and instead the studio will focus on returning to thier roots by building a “modern shared universe” approach to Godzilla films, with the Big-G, Mothra, Ghidorah, and more classic Toho kaiju returning by hand of their mother studio.
