CLICK FOR LATEST NEWS ON TOHO’s G-FILMS

2016 saw the announcement of Toho’s next Godzilla project after Shin, which was the first official anime feature film starring the Big G. When Toho Animation & Netflix’s Anime Trilogy wrapped, the storied studio announced their intention to build a “Monsterverse” all their own and “on par” with Legendary’s.

Whether this still holds true or not, we now know Toho’s next G-film to be GODZILLA MINUS ONE (click the banner below for more), which hits this November in Japan and December in the U.S. For now, Skreeonk.com has dubbed this resurgence the TOHOVERSE, and we’ll be here to report on all things Godzilla. *Note: In 2018, Toho announced there will be no sequel to SHIN GODZILLA, and instead the studio will focus on “returning to their roots” by building a “modern shared universe” approach to Godzilla films, with the Big-G, Mothra, Ghidorah, and more classic Toho kaiju returning by hand of their mother studio.
