The Godzilla 1964 Vinyl by X-Plus, original 2010 release.

John from Kaiju Addicts back again. I realize I was just here three days ago but my next review features something so awesome that it just couldn’t wait. Feast your eyes on the X-Plus Toho 30cm Series Godzilla 1964 vinyl figure! One of X-Plus’ earlier figures in its modern lines, Goji ’64 originally came out late in 2010. And to the delight of collectors who missed out on its first run, it was re-issued just a few months ago. And would you believe it, it’s already rare with big price tags again.

I think the sculpt on this guy represents the original suit almost perfectly. And even the personality of Goji ’64 radiates from the pose.

Godzilla '64 Ric Boy edition comes with light-up fins, by X-Plus.

The recent 2013 re-issue comes with LED lights installed into the translucent dorsal fins. Nice touch.

And there’s one more photo that’s too big to post here. Click here to see it.

That’s about it for now. I probably won’t be back for another few weeks but I’ll be back with a preview of a review with lots of photos of the upcoming X-Plus Kiryu.
